Extended Classification Information
'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' is a digital release of the US musical comedy made in 1953, about a pair of friends - one of whom is engaged to a rich man - who work as showgirls, and are on a sea voyage to Paris. It has been classified at 'U' with no material likely to offend or harm.

The film is comedy with regular musical numbers throughout. There is occasional mild kissing seen and infrequent very mild innuendo. One scene sees the women try to drug a man with sleeping tablets in his cocktail but this is comic and undetailed, and a key character clearly disapproves. As the scene - and indeed the whole work - is fairly dated and so removed from most children's experiences, there would be no ready identification with the women, and therefore no realistic potential for young children to copy their actions.

There is no bad language in the film.

'U' stands for Universal, which means that we think the film is suitable for audiences aged four or older.
