Extended Classification Information
'Armored' is an action-thriller about a team of armoured security truck guards who concoct a daring plan to fake a hijack in order to steal millions of dollars.  The film contains one use of strong language and moderate bloody violence.

The single use of strong language occurs in a tense stand-off between two characters.  The film also contains mild-to-moderate language which includes uses of 'goddam', 'damn', 'hell', 'screwed up', 'shit' and 'bullshit'.

Violence in the film takes the form of various shootings, stabbings and fighting as characters react to things going wrong and the tension that builds between them.  Sequences in which characters are hit by bullets, or stabbed, or receive blows are filmed in a way that does not show strong detail.  Whilst the bloody or horrific consequences of such violence are present (for example, a character bleeding from a stomach wound, another character's dead body briefly seen on fire after an explosion), this is intended to give a sense of the growing panic in which characters find themselves or, for some, a desperate fight for survival, and such detail tends to be incidental to the fast-moving action rather than being focused upon.

No-one younger than 12 may see a '12A' film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult.  No-one younger than 12 may rent or buy a '12' rated video or DVD.  Responsibility for allowing under-12s to view lies with the accompanying or supervising adult.
